A LONG STANDING HISTORY IN HAWKE'S BAY: 1916 - 2016
A century ago CCR was A Dykes and Sons, primarily a coaching and wheelwright (fixing wooden wheels) business. It evolved with the motor vehicle by first building them, importing truck chassis, adding a motor and building the body. As vehicles became more common so did collisions and the business evolved into panelbeating. Roger Greaney was just 16 when he started his apprenticeship there 47 years ago.
